About Benchdog

A small shop that builds things the old way.

Benchdog Woodworking is named after the pegs that hold a board to the bench, because every piece we make starts right there.

Furniture with a story.

Most furniture today is made to be replaced. We build the opposite: solid wood tables, benches and cabinets that fit your home and get handed down.

You work directly with the person building your piece, from the first sketch to the final coat of finish.

Solid hardwoods and proper joinery, never particleboard dressed up as furniture.

Every piece is sized for your room and the way you actually use it.

You know the price and timeline before we cut a single board.
